Genuine question: Do guys really expect responses to these types of messages?

Don't write them off completely, maybe talk to them a little and if you're still not interested then move on. Boys are stupid, and don't know what women want, but just because they start off with a stupid pick up line doesn't mean they're not great guys. Even if you end up not liking them it's better to take the chance and talk to them then risk walking away from a catch. What have you got to lose?
