You can't buy a teacher's edition and expect to get by. Most "good" teachers don't go exactly by the book and sometimes tests don't come from the book either. They get their materials elsewhere. I suggest you talk to your teacher about the difficulties you're having and see where to go from there. The teacher should respect you for coming to them about the problem and want to help you.
