Would a dolhouse made of foam core be strong enough?

I want to make a dollhouse out of foamcore instead of wood. (Easier to cut.) Do you think it would be strong enough to hold a dollhouse full of furnature? (i'm not talking about heavy play, i'm just saying would it collapse under the furnature wieght?)
