How do I install my webcam c500 on Ubuntu 10.04?

If it doesn't say on the box that it will work with Linux there isn't any point in trying to use the disk that came with it because it won't work. Try using cheese or another program that uses web cams to see if it works. If not, you may need to find the driver on the internet. The post below is from the Ubuntu forums.
