Question about prayer. Christians only please.?

How often do you really pray? Do you praise God and thank him in prayer? Do you pray according to the Bible, meaning take God's will and pray according to it? Do you intercede for others? I admit when I am not praying, my life falls apart and God feels like a million miles away. Truth is, he will never leave me nor forsake me - Hebrews 13:5. I am not hear to say I am better than any other person for God loves everyone, but I feel the Holy Spirit want me to remind people to pray. Asking questions on here doesn't necessarily mean God answers you. But pray to God an he will answer you through the Spirit. We as Christians need to get back to basics and put an emphasis on prayer and turn off the T.V. For prayer isn't about asking God for what we want, but it's also about having a conversation with him. He wants to talk to you, but he can't if you ignore him.
