What has worked best for you with combo of asthma and allergies?

recently I moved to the East Coast and am now having BAD allergies for the first time. My asthma is doing okay though surprisingly. A few months ago I started singulair and advair and that combo has been working great for my asthma. I have been getting really bad sinus congestion and the only thing that helped with some amount of relief was Claritin D. I have had allegra for years but it doesn't work for actual allergies for me. I am actually allergic to the cold-I get hives, so I take allegra for that and when I know I will be around animals a lot. Each person is different though. Try Claritin D. Sometimes nasal sprays work too like Flonase or Nasonex, but those you need prescriptions for. Good luck!
