Ruger GP100 or Taurus 608 357 magnum revolver?

I am ready to order my new revolver.....help me decide which one to go for....I have tried them both at the gun club I am member at and loved them both,I have large hands so they both were very comfortable in my hands.I have narrowed it down to my 2 favorite 357 magnum revolvers,I know the S&W and Colt should be in this category too,however they are over the budget I had in mind to splurge on a new wheel gun, btw I am from Canada and prices for the Ruger GP100 goes for $710.00 + taxes and the Taurus 608 goes for $640.00 + taxes,I have only heard good reviews on the Ruger,built like a tank and tough as nails,my concern is the Taurus and barrels blowing up in the shooters face,however those were the smaller frame guns....keep in mind that the 608 is a large model frame and is a beautiful gun....hoping it is reliable as the ruger....cuz if it were to be a decision on looks alone the Taurus would win hands down,I am not saying the Ruger is not a looker,but the Taurus wow.....so with that being said let me know some pros and cons for both models....would love everyones opinion...however opinions from you all who own these wheel guns would be greatly appreciated....thank you in advance....TM.
